RE/MAX Town & Country in Allen Texas held an Open House & Block Party as a fundraiser for the Texas Sentinel Foundation. Specifically, the money will be used to build a home (debt free) for a decorated wounded veteran Sergeant Justin Feagin and his family. In Afghanistan, he led a Border Police Unit that was ambushed and he lost his foot, hearing in one ear with shrapnel wounds due to an IED.
All proceeds benefit the Texas Sentinels Foundation www.texassentinels.org, a Texas non-profit foundation that builds and donates debt-free houses and other support services to severely injured military personnel who proudly served in post 9-11 conflict overseas.
This Community event was held Saturday Sept. 10 (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and ties in with the 10th Anniversary of 9-11. It was held at the new RE/MAX Town & Country offices at 301 S. Watters, Allen, TX 75013.
We had about 1000 people. The event will included: the Allen Police Mobile Command Unit, Allen Fire trucks, the big RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon, 102.9 FM radio station and bounce houses for the children and much more.
